ENEA-INMRI to coordinate EMPIR project 16NRM03 'RTNORM'
Winners of the EMPIR 2016 calls announced
The Italian National Metrology Institute of Ionizing Radiation will coordinate a research project funded within the EURAMET 2016 call of the EMPIR programme (European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research). The research proposal was compiled through the summer of 2016 with the participation of the National Metrology Institutes VSL (the Netherlands), LNE-LNHB (France), NPL (United Kingdom), DTU (Denmark), STUK (Finland) and of the Universities THM (Germany), KUL (Belgium) and IST-ID (Portugal).
The research project will be funded for 24 months beginning in May 2017, and will contribute towards the revision of the IAEA TRS-398, the most used international protocol for cancer radiotherapy dosimetry.
